i'll always be that girl who finds that one last speckle of laughter left in this dark world.

iTunes is spinning: something corporate - "i woke up in a car"

tonight. i found the funniest site ever --> http://www.nataliedee.com don't believe, here's why:

and a personal favourite.

okay. well i find them hilarious in a very-jenn-ish sort of way. just like that bunnypoofball in the last post heee.

it's eleven twenty nine pm: and it's time to get whipped to get some serious work done. *crack *crack *crack.

the cause of my pain stems from a pure source of you.

iTunes is spinning: saosin -"bury your head"

[just so we're sure, who is this] a really cool girl.
[and how are you doing] piled beneath a mountain of work and yet...i still find the time to do this.
[tell us how your day has been] very unproductive.
[what'z your favorite line from a song ] endless favourites lines from endless pick of favourites songs
[weird habit of yours] mmmm. dunno.
[your number one pet peeve] take my fashion advice. i know what's best for you.
[what do you do when you are sad] i like to have alone time, or induce myself in a long session of retail therapy.
[when you're angry] read: above.
[happy] smile.
[bored] all or any of the above.
[horny] be on top.
[what's your room look like] super messy, but yet organized only in a system i can handle. i like to live in chaos. it's so much more relaxing.
[something you've always wanted to do] have enough money to just pick up and go somewhere random and on a whimsical note.
[strangest or scariest or best dream you've had lately] umm. well last night i had this dream about this guy named tony who really was a devotee to techno music, in which i took it upon myself to remedy this frightening situation by taking him out to a punk rock concert. so that was a scary (techno music) and best (punk rock concert) dream all rolled into one. but my best best best dream was the one where somehow only in a parallel universe (such as my dream state) could it happen that josh hartnett somehow picked beeutiful little me over smoking hot giselle bundchen to be his significant other.. yes i'm a dork, but i love that dream.
[weird or little-known fact about yourself] umm i think all i have is wierd facts about me.
[special talent] procrastinating at it's finest and damn proud of it.
[your least favorite band/musician] well. when i saw in one of those less then stellar cred magazines the other day that the backstreet boys were preparing to go on tour next month. yes the date on the magazine was 2005. yet somehow the pose the boys struck together (think cocky side smile and hands all yoyoyoyoyo what's up like) was somehow to reminiscint of circa. 1995 times. which is altogether enough evident to prove that it should've stayed that way. back in the day.
[why] hahahahahhahahaha. yeah.
[your favorite band/musician] at the moment i've been listening to a bunch of dallas green's side/solo project stuff. aka. city and colour. that and say anything's been in heavy rotation for a while now along with stars.
[why] just listen to "save your scissors" or "woe" or "what i'm trying to say" and you'll understand.
[something you believe in/support strongly] myself. i think that it's great if people believe in themselves, believing that no matter what you're great. if you think you're great you can rock anything (no matter if it's plaid pants with pink stilletoes) and pull it off with ease.
[something that you don't believe in/support] smoking nicotine.
[an interesting story or joke or something] snuggle me.
[what's your favorite word] hahahaha POOP!
[furthest you've traveled] does back home count? considering that i'm currently in canada. hong kong definitely counts as being the furthest i've traveled from here.
[languages you can speak] jennnglish and maybe some canto-cantonese.
[met anyone famous] ummm. i've met some hong kong celebrities. but they don't count as famous people. not in my opinion.
[your handwriting looks like] ass.
[last CD you bought/burned] rachel yamagata's EP.
[is it good] i bought it for the one song "would you please". the others i pretty much have. i just really really wanted this one song what can i say.
[your favorite song on it] "would you please".
[how do you like your coffee] i don't actually.
[how do you like your eggs]  sunny side up, with bacon and brown toast. right bradley! :-D
[steak] medium-rare. RAHHHHH i love love love a good juicy steak. i'm so barbaric sounding right now. mmm beef.
[usually wear your hair] mostly. my hair's too thick to really put it up in a high pony. i can do it for about one hour. then my head starts to hurt from the weight.
[out of all your friends, which is the loudest?] ummm. i dunno. i think we all have our loud moments.
[funniest] well, my friend who's a "professional jackass" is definitely up there.
[ugliest] none. don't you know, hot people only hang out with other hot people.
[smartest] none. i like to hang around dumb kids.
[what is your style] a little bit of this and that, classics, brights, bolds, casual, colours, lace and knit all thrown together into one.
[hair color/style you've always wanted to try] platinum blonde! hah. but yeah we're never doing that.
[something you want or wanna do but your parents wont let you] mmm. i think one of the big things they'll really be against is me getting some ink done. but in the end, i'll always win because i'll just be defiant. yeah, don't you just want to adopt me into your family. meow.
[if you were a musician, what type would you be] a good one.
[if you were an actor, what would you do] ummm act? i know it sounds CRAAAZZZY to be an actor and act. hahahaha.
[favorite shape] polki dots and stripes.
[wish you were doing right now] done with this one class of mine.
[accent] um a jenny accent?
[celebrity look alike] well. i don't think i really look like anyone.
[do you like school] some of it, some profs i really have beef with, but on the other hand there are some profs that i love that make me really appreciate why i'm here.
[how are your grades] they are a total reflection of how much i like that class.
[school spirit]  goooo utm......
[best vacation] disneyland.... i'm waiting to go to disneyworld. i'm not lying, i actually really really really want to go.
[worst] umm maybe the ones where we had to visit boring places because my parents enjoyed the mellow quality.
[have a lot of money] currently flatlined broke.
[does anyone care] prolly not. everyone seems to be broke in university.
[hate about the opposite sex] a lack of confidence.
[like about them] everything about a boy.
[are you a jealous person] i wouldn't generally say i am. and even if i am green, i would prolly have too much pride and non-vulnerability to admit it because then i'll appear weak.
[own a spork] yes! of course! don't you!
[kind of exercise you dislike the most] cardio. there are so many other ways to get cardio exercise aside from running on a treadmill for 30mins. i just wish i knew more people who enjoyed playing sports.
[like the most] a good healthy game of basketball which hasn't happened in way toooo long. that or i think i'd really enjoy taking up something like kickboxing. but then again. maybe not. i already know kung fu.
[favorite kind of soup] chicken noodle that comes in the box with packages. or a realllly good clam chowder.
[allergic to anything] some cats and some hamsters and really long tall grass.
[your voice sounds like] umm. wierd as i've been told by most. sometimes it's a little kid voice or a cartoon character. i like to think it's a deep throaty sexy telephone voice. . . . but it's really not.
[own any black underwear] of course.
[your laugh sounds like] me.
[coolest thing you've ever eaten] anything homemade is cool.
[like to play with fire] umm. not particularly, at least it doesn't make my top ten likes to play with list....

that's it folks. but before i leave, i leave you with this: it's a bird, it's a plane... it's really a... ?

it's one o three am: and in three weeks time i'll be a happy happy happy delightful girl again.

Sunday, March 27, 2005

one year three months five days two seconds...it's all the same i'll still be here and you'll always be gone.

iTunes is spinning: sheryl crow -"soak up the sun"

as the weekend passes by me in a blur of fast times and old movies, i can only hope and pray and wiggle my little bum that spring is just around the cornor. with all that cockteasing weather mother nature has been bringing on i'm just a little shy of being impressed. i, usually being a half-glass-full kind of girl i am am in an unusually bitter mood about the prevailing winter season. i only have one request, is for winter to sail the world away. head over to australia already. give me my summer loving. this weekend has been full of restless shopping anxiety due to the malls closing for the holidays, sweet outings to restaurants on work time, and just good ol' lobumming around time. the time i like the most. in reminiscing of my other night at joe. here are some not so incriminating pictures as it just features a few girlies shaking their assets to the likes of some tunes worth jiggling to.

...sometimes you just wonder who's standing below the speakers on which you're standing upon snapping away at your dancing antics. in this case. the culprit is mr a.pomper. he drives a mini van. somtimes. sometimes he brings lauren roses too. like the other day. for easter. yeah. i know. what a horrible horrible guy.

random #779:
-the weather network lied. march 25, 2005 did NOT feel like this

it's six thirty four pm: and i will be put under house arrest from now until the last vcc 415 essay is done and handed in. except maybe for the usual shopping exursions, and the munchies run, and the bartending classes on fridays and... hell. who am i kidding. i can't be put under house arrest. that's crazy talk.

these wise men's lies aren't talltale enough for me.

dallas green/city and colour - "save your scissors"

current head trauma: dehydrated and sleepy
current predicament: are malls open today on good friday?
current craving: some bacon and eggs.

last night me and some other two girlies went to joe. it was. well. there were coronas, chocolate easter eggs, small packed and then not so packed dance floors, coronas, strobe lights, dancing on speakers, mariah carey's fantasy with ODB. "me and mariah go back like babies in pacifiers". a whole lotta ugly guys and not enough whole hearted omph from me to fully enjoy the night. i longed to be in one of the other sweaty meat packed clubs. on the trek back to the car, we passed back some swanky looking place called "rain". right next to schmooze. and right across that ultra swanky living quarters no doubt full of urban cool lofts and pricey penthouse estates in "g". well. if anybody needs me i'll be situated in one of the rooms up in that joint yo. because it's definitely swell. heh. hahaha. haha. hah. on to better news, before we went to joe. we stopped by fox and the fiddle on john st. to grab a bite to eat. but not before we were stopped by some buff dude in new jeans, a red santa had driving his almost considered to be lowrider bike tear off his jacket/shirt, and proceeded to plop down on the sidewalk sans any top wear and started doing pushups. why? i have no idea. and what kind of pushups. well they were wackey wackey ones. wierd. has anyone else seen this strange strange man whilst wandering the streets of toronto?

random #45:
-random apology.

ps- i wonder howe we're doing so far in this dirty dirty ncaa championship tourney. with the huge upsets. i tried to catch a bit of the games on the tele last night at fox. it was hard seeing the scores.

it's twelve twenty two pm: and i'm patiently waiting on dallas green (aka. the dude who doesn't scream but actually sings from alexisonfire theonlybandever, to have time to churn out his side project. "the death of me EP" under the alias city and colour. i have a feeling it's going to be a long long agonizing wait. in the meantime, you can try to illegally download a version. i recommend 'save your scissors" as a starting point to enjoy his latest mini endeavour.

i could kill for a laugh, but i would die for a tear.

iTunes is spinning: cary brothers - "blue eyes"

wow! i realized i've been neglecting my pet blog. that's right. there's been a serious absence of rants and blurbs about really nothing in general. but i'm back, no fears. i did not fall into a ditch and freeze to my frostbitten death. instead in the last week and a bit of my life i've:
-procrastinated a bunch
-slept a bunch
-read a bunch of women's magazines
-played a bunch
-did a bunch of schoolwork
-went to a rise against concert where i saw a bunch of big sweaty dudes. mmm.

and now here i am. for the next few weeks of my life it will be HORROR HORROR!! the next week will be okay i have nothing to do. so then just when i start to feel like a pimp i gotta get that, dirt off my shoulders...

so currently i'm craving some summerlicious weather and more slam banging concerts to go to. the last one reopened the thirst that needs to be quenched.

it's eleven thirty three pm: and this poofy jenny needs a pick up of a whirl.

the sweetest song are the words unsung by the heart.

iTunes is spinning: feist -"the onliest"

hello world!! meet my yellow mittins.

courtesy of the knitting by my lovely sister. (even though one thumb is longer than the other...

and my lovely delectable dior kisses trio in "candy apple".

*sigh. they're so cute. i don't want to use them and spoil the pristine newness. i feel the need to display them on a glass shelfing with spotlights upon each individual tube filled with their yummy shimmery juicyness. ahhhh screw it. i just glossed some on my poofy lips. mmmm kisses.

it's ten three one: and i need to hail me a speedy car off the junk food wagon.

i'm not living in the past, i'm just stuck in the moment.

iTunes is playing: the shins -"kissing the lipless"

so today whilst searching the internet a la google styles, i came across a few interesting articles. bearing in mind that the topic i was googling for was "fashion photography" i landed on some really random things. but as usual, my internet searches seems to bring about endless images of cute animals and what nots. ahhh my ever fueling need and love for the internets.

1. the typo millionaires
2. the man behind the juice
3. how to get teens not to smoke
4. dunkin' donuts
5. things found only in america
6. jobs-words-fun.
7. anonymice i like

i think i've tapped out my daily quota of mindless readings on the internet for today and the rest of the week.

random #32
-china and any other still hardly civilized country with a whole in the ground for a means as a toilet for women should really consider getting a "auto-loo" system installed country-wide stat. if anything, i'll at least get over the heebie jeebies of having to pop a squat and pee all over my pants and maybe give me the incentive to actually want to visit shanghai and beijing and tiananmen square (i'm still holding off on the trek up the great wall though).

it's twelve four six am: and i need to take some jenny action into figuring out my life for the next year and a bit soon. but not too soon, for the rest of tonight i'll still be jenny action free and instead choo-choo-choose the choice to just lobum around snuggled under the covers of my pink blanket and read a non-school related book. jealous? good.

a life of desires never fulfilled.

iTunes is spinning: stars -"one more night"

my most anticipated movie release: sin city. and after watching the trailer and seeing a lot of faces (and bodies and whom i just want to marry) i've decided that on april first, whether i've been fooled or not, i will be in line with my ticket. not only is my hubby mr josh hartnett in it, but also my sexy, miss devon aoki!!! AHHHHHHH. nuff said folks.

i've been waiting too long for a good movie to be out. i haven't gone to see a movie in so long.

it's twelve one six am: and i went to EB today looking for the blowing up of WORMS 3D game. and i couldn't find it. yes. i said it. i went to EB.

Tuesday, March 08, 2005

i will make my own happy ending.

iTunes is spinning: matt pond PA -"champagne supernova"

so where have i been lately? let's recap. it's been a huge bradley and jenny weekend extravaganza. it started on friday. with plans of going to the LOO. and well we ended up leaving a little late. after picking up dANDY from work, we jetted off to the wierd 401, apparently in different directions from the 401 that i know of that you get into from the 403. . .. (hey bradley where's my maps and directions lesson?) so we hop onto the second ramp and away we go putting the pedal to the metal at 140kms, we arrived shortly in waterloo, making a pit stop to pick up cip. and it was phils we were off to. getting in ways easy, and after getting my hand stamped with a thursday stamp on a friday night, i had my first beer. oh stella you were a good first. after finding gram and co. getting their butts whooped in jitz (along with many other numerous members throughout the night). overall, it was a pretty good night, even with the psychic chic ranting from cip and andy. she was a mysterious one eh boys. we capped off the night with a really long wait for service and food at mels. but it was delicious i tell you. and then we stumbled home to miss sarah cale's place of residence and i fell into a deep slumber of dreams of fish tanks and beta fishies. it was horrible and wierd.

the rest of my weekend was pretty chilling, spent a lot of time infront of the tv and canoodling under a stinky armpit and feedingi the junk food needs of my stomach with munchies. . there were a many of hours clocked in playing burnout. i like driving with the supers. they go ridiculously fast and i feel like a ricegirl.

on monday after a good satisfyingly great perfect bacon and eggs sunny side up with brown toast breakfast at sunset grill, i bid goodbye to a stinky bradley and went home to wash off the greasiness of the weekend. but another great surprise awaited for me. my package from my sister. this was a highly anticipated event, and i detoured to south common to receive say package. it was like christmas and new years and my birthday and easter all rollled into one. and among the many lovely gifts i received this was the main attraction. so world, i would like to introduce to you the latest member of my L.A.M.B collection. miss donegal plaid clutch. and i was just thinking the other day of how i just needed a clutch to finish off my L.A.M.B. collection of purses, this being said because it is her last line. and there will be no mores.

today. i am put underhouse arrest until i get some workie done and some nutrition back into the system.

it's four o eight: and on april the 14th, i+1 am going star(s) gazing.

don't hold my hand if you never had the intentions to walk by my side.

iTunes is spinning: tamia -"imagination"

TELL ME about...
7 years ago: i was a fifteen year old alone on a plane to return to my 'homeland' of hong kong which i barely knew. leaving behind my friends and everything i've ever known and loved.
4 years ago: i was an eighteen year old on a plane university bound to toronto, but this time on the edge of excitement.
3 years ago: i proclaimed my infatuation to a blue with a patch of brown-eyed boy.
1 hour ago: i told my non-sleepy self that i was heading to bed.
Tomorrow: i hope to wake up looking like her...

i guess i'll need to have a bigger dose of the beauty sleep medicine.

it's four o five: and it's was so easy to tell you where i was three years ago... what about three years later?
