What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? stayed in on new year's eve for the first time in my rebellious years. didn't feel much of the celebration fever.
Did you keep your last new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? well i don't even remember last years, so that was that. and next year. well till then. as for this year... my resolution was to endure the struggles of letting go, or more so, learn how to let go.
Did anyone close to you give birth? baby no!
Did anyone close to you die? blessedly no.
What countries did you visit? singapore and finally a trip back home to hong kong.
What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? relieve myself of this cabin feverish dream i've been living in for the past little while.
What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? the april showers.
What was your biggest achievement of the year? furthering my masters in procrastination.
What was your biggest failure? not doing what my gut tells me to do more often.
Did you suffer illness or injury? i'm always sniffly.
What was the best thing you bought? a sexy pair of black chrome stiletto heeled michael kors pumps. size 6. slurp. the envy of my eye.
Where did most of your money go? one word. shopping.

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004: i think i still have yet to learn this valuable lesson. but as always, take it as it comes.
family dinner at madison's, a swank 'uptown' restaurant in hong kong. so far from the maddy's i know in downtown toronto full of college kids with drunken aurora.
it's toronto time 1132 and hong kong time 1232: and my time has come to leave this place which i once called home but now i feel so foreign in to return to a place that's no more home but one i feel more settled in. eight five two.
