bright lights, sin city.
iTunes is playing: Baz Lurhmann-"Everyone Let's (wear sunscreen)"so yesterday was my four-hour-stint as a marca bavaria (*cue the lights, the sexy music, the hot hot sun, the sizzling sand on the beach, and oh yes of course the voluptuous bavaria girl scantily clad in a yellow bikini) sampling girl at the lcbo by 01 and Weston Road. it was fun, i mean people cannot be mean to you when really you're just feeding them free beer samples. mm beeery. ok. to recap. within my pseudo-yes i do work for molsen-and yes i do have my smart serve flex. well. here's a few highlights
-scored a couple of dates-
-girls wanting to know where i got my nifty 'a marca bavaria' shirt.-
-men wanting my shirt....-
-oh and of course guys wanting to taste me instead of the beer. hey. the beer's good-
-a couple of complaints about 6 packy of bavaria being too $$$. dude it's an import (and i'm not talking about vroooom)-
but all in all. it was good times.
So after my easy fifty bucks made for giving out samples of beery for a few hours, i headed over to my girl's crib. *pause for a moment of laughter. hahahahahaha.ok* so then we headed out to swiss chalet for rotisserie chicken dindins. mmmm. dark meat. we stuffed our faces full and headed back to the house for what was to be a wild wild wild night unfolding_and_enfolding you. -for those commited to be brought through our wild night, stick around through the long words... it'll be worth it.
first stop
-destination: horseshoe tavern
-time: about twelve thirty.
-alias: lauren and jenny. code name natalie and alex checking in. dooot dooot doot, okay so we get to the horseshoe because a bunch of molsen people are just making a ruckus in that vincinity and so figured we'd check it out. get there, a band is playing, not bad, sounds like less than jake-ish to me for a few songs there. so i guess that means they've got some awesome potential. ok so get there, and since we're hanging out with all these suave molsen dudes and dudettes we gotta order molsen products. ask for a canadian. sold out. okay so we look at their beery menu. .. no coors light, no coronas, no heineys, no bavarias, to put it this way no other molsen products except a 'molsen stock ale' or something gross like that. pass. i became a traitor and ordered a stellie (insert confusion: i totally thought horseshoe sold coronas. guess not. they've got 'sol' instead. hahaha......) ok so by quarter to one, all of lauren's buds and buddettes decide to leaev us because they've already been drinking themselves silly since about the beery festival a couple of hours before. so now what?
second stop
-destination: my apartment dt styles
-time: roughly 1am
-cover: 5 dollars. bah. okay so it's one am and one hour left to drink really and we did not want to pay the 5 dollar cover even though it was onlyyyyy 2.50 drinks. but hey. that's 2 more drinkies right. so ... well. 2 hot pieces of ass=sweet talking of the bouncer to sneak us through (mission accomplished alex and natalie-1, rest of the world-0.). so upon entering the premises we beelined it to the bar and ordered us a rye and ginger and cranberry vodka. headed out to the patio to meet and greet the familiars if there be any. instead we ran into some loud boisterious 'italian' guy. hah. yeah. right. italian and i'm jamaican and lauren's half chinese half ukranian. damn checkoslovakians. anyways, after we had a debate whether this guy ahad a hearing aid on or cell phone delio attacghed to his left year (for thos eplaying along it was a cell phone!) anyways, led us to meeting a couple of nice guys just chilling in a corner joining our debate. -->in come nice guys one and two. alright. so we're all just chatting it up and of course the hour goes by, our canadian and keiths were slowing downing away, went to go ordder another one and realize that it was almost closing on 3. where the hell was last call!? i dunno. well thse nice guys invited us back to their pad. or ore so the one guy's pad located right in the heart of toronto's own dt scene approx. richmond and peter. ok. well. we're pondering... and we decided these guys seem harmless enough. so.
third stop
-destination: tba
-time: no idea at this time really didn't really care anymore
-new players: 4 guys and still 2 girls. ok so we head back with them and dude we stoppped infront of this amazing facade of what would eventually lead us up to the button embrossed with two letters "PH". wow. gasp. take another moment of silence. man imagine being so young and getting the pleasure to live in such a place. astounding his balcony overlooks queen st. well to wrap things up the city lights do shine ever so brightly in the city below.
fourth and final stop
-destination: home
-transportation: cabby man
-level of energe: exhausted.blitzed.envy.random night.
-we tucked our tired little bodies in bed. sorry for the lack of picture but it was purely unintentional and fully intentional.
it's ten-one-one: and i've been awake for an hour dropping lauren at work and trying to regain my consciousness slowly.
ps-does anyone know where my digi cam is. it was our no. 1 loss last night not having documentaris. but maybe the great unit 808 bandit has struck again. haha.
