a longing for the other side of the world.
iTunes is spinning: sheena easton-"my baby takes the morning train".so, it's saturday night (my sunday morning) and everyone on the other side of the equator seems to partying it up. i feel a tad bit jealoux. i spent my saturday night curled up in bed with a fluffy novel while i fell asleep admist many more novels. Dan Brown's deception point and digital fortress make a good re-read and an adept pillow, while Bill Bryson's a short history of nearly everything sufficed as a snuggle toy and the nooks and crans are littered with mindless nora roberts readings. not that i'm complaining, it's the lifestyle i chose to partake in everytime i come home, snuggled undercovers with a cup of chinese tea and a pack of pocky sticks.
sigh. however, i still long to put my dancing shoes on, glammed up, red wine buzzed and ready to go head out for a night on the town. alas.
it's nine four four am: and the taxi has arrived to take me to church. have fun everyone else.
