denial of another summer's life end.

iTunes is spinning: taking back sunday -"you're so last summer"

soooo it's been a while. and i am officially back in toronto and back on my feet savouring the last bits of my fading summerdays. italia was awesome. pictures to be announced when i get them in due order. i have sooo many that the thought of putting them in somewhat of an order. or flipping though them gives me a headache. perhaps next week.

however, the handful of days i've been back i've had a nice catch up with the girlies and some quality time spent with the boy. and as much shopping as i've done throughout italia...i've managed to go shopping everyday since i've been back. except for today. i'm put under house arrest.

but i did have a somewhat-long-time-wish fullfilled last night. i finally got to go to the ex just like everybody else. it was so fun! i'm such a sucker for carnies and flourescent lights. it fits in with the whole artificial colourful idea. i watched the texas trick riders, sat through some dude trying to explain fishing jigs and lures to me, oogled at some cows, pigs, sheeps and ostriches galore, saw the aerobatics/figure skating show, was absolutely helpless in trying to pick something for dinner in the food pavillion, wandered around the midway forever bemused and entranced by all the giant stuffies luring your toonies and loonies away to cheap tricks, but bradsley did win me a carebear so i'm okay with it, it almost made up for missing the petting zoo. and of course capped off the night with a break an arm and a leg in price ferris wheel ride and afterwards snuggled down on the lawn to watch the musical fireworks. i haven't seen fireworks in so long that i felt as giddy as a schoolgirl about to enter kindgarten. and at the end of the night i headed home with the carnie lights twinkling behind me, my purple carebear in one arm and my boy on the other. the half eaten bag of cotton candy remains in the garbage can.

snapshots of my funfilled return to toronto.

it's twelve twelve pm: and it's good to be home canada.
