they will see us waving from such great heights.
itunes is spinning: need i say, The Postal Service - "Such Great Heights"" i am thinking it's a sign
that the freckles in our eyes
are mirror images
and when we kiss
they're perfectly aligned."
with an awesome song like that i'm compelled to promote a movie that's highly competing for the top "most anticipation in waiting for this film to come out so i can watch it already" spot. the movie is called Garden State. this movie has succesfully braved the sundance film festival comes from the mind of a bright young man by the name of Zach Braff who wrote/directed/AND stars in the movie, for those who have trouble recognizing the name, it's the dude from the tvseries Scrubs, starring alongside of braff is miss natalie portman who needs no explanation. this movie definitely looks like it'll be far from being a dissapointment so go check out the trailer in the link. AND if you needed more persuasion to come join me in the waiting line, the soundtrack boasts the awesomeness that is the sensational The Postal Service, the song "such great heights" (iron and wine cover) is played in the movie as if that's not hint enough that this is of grade juicy standards. it's out on august sixth two-o-o-four.
and in the latest news coverage: as i sit on my bed, ibook in my lap on this wednesday july seventh 2oo4 i came face to face with the worst thing that could ever happen to me _ever_ ok so maybe not to me me but to my bank account. the devil's name is www.ebay.com and here are just a few items i've put a bid on today:
-a volcom cowboy hat.
-a volcom pursey purse.
-a volcom scout hat.
-a volcom patch.
and here are some things i've managed to HOLD myself back on putting a bid on as i'll never be able to afford it right now anyways:
-a sexy sexy pink infused snowboard.
-a custom made volcom lamp.
-my sanity.*
*on a side note all donations to the cure for jennifer's chronic shopping addiction foundation can be made out in the form of :
-cash money.
-cheque.
-all major credit cards excepted.
-ebay's way. 'paypal'.
i'm not sure why i've never ventured into the world of ebay before but perhaps my subconsciousness was sleeping today as i wandered in like a kiddy at the candy store, eyes wide and glazed over. i hope Pierre Omidyar (fyi:father of ebay) feels guilty that i've found another source of giving the bankaccount a really hardcore run at fast becoming a master of anorexia.
it's ten-fifty-six: and i know where my money is today.
